I am running v3.0.2 [51cc765] (latest available on my Synology Diskstation).
It used to be super reliable but now most downloads fail. I am using Easynews files which are verified as being complete ("autounrar" files).
In SAB I get failures with various different error messages:
"postprocessing was aborted (see logfile)"
"rar files failed to verify"
If I direct download these via my file manager they come down fine. Here is the end of the log for one of the files. The error log is empty:
Happy to provide sample nzb files, logs, whatever will help in diagnosing the issue.
The board is not allowing me to post links or even an extract from the logfile, please advise how to overcome this. There is something in the logfile extract it thinks is a link and as a "new user" I am not allowed links.

posting stuff: post on pastebin, and post the URL (with spaces in it) here.
I think my advice will be: get an additional news provider

Re: Failing on virtually every nzb: "rar files failed to verify"
I've been with them 20 years so I've done okay so far. The files are complete on the server - I'm directly downloading them as I post this. I suspect something in SAB has regressed.

So https://pastebin.com/BmvZ1023
A Traceback like that should not occur. I've put that into the title because that is important.
On your Synlogy you're on SAB 3.0.2. SAB 3.1.0 has been released. If that is not available yet for your Synology, can you run SAB 3.1.0 on your PC/Mac/Linux. See https://sabnzbd.org/downloads
Can you share the NZB with me? It could be a strange / bad NZB or post.

3 files give the same error and log message, the fourth gives "RAR files failed to verify". Here's the tail of the log:

You can now post full, complete URLs. Congrats
I've downloaded that last NZB https://pastebin.com/raw/VJCbTCmw on my SABnzbd 3.1.0 on Linux. Result:
1) no traceback with SAB 3.1.0
2) "RAR files failed to verify".
Resulting files:
Let's see whether those two rar files are different;
Yes, they are different. Good.
Manual unpack
"Cannot find volume some_weird.part003.rar", so the rar set is incomplete, according to unrar.
There is a mkv file:
Check with recent unrar: the same
So I would say: bad NZB, or bad post.

Re: Failing on virtually every nzb: "rar files failed to verify": : traceback "KeyError: 1"
Any feedback or questions?
Long story short: your NZB is incorrect. Get another source for NZBs (= indexer).

Re: Failing on virtually every nzb: "rar files failed to verify": : traceback "KeyError: 1"
I am on Synology (SABnzbd version: 3.1.1) and I also get this to happen as well. What I do is go into the incomplete download directory and double click the par2 file which brings up multipar I have installed. I then repair and all is well. I go back to sabnzbd and click retry so it will finish up the processing.
However, it seems the OP has a different issue than mine.
At first I though it had to do with me having ignore samples checked as everyone that fails seems to have a Samples\sample-... file which is included in the par2. So just now I did the download with and without ignore samples checked. Both failed, but running multipar produced needing 21 recovery blocks for ignore samples checked and only needing 10 recovery blocks for ignore samples not checked. The only difference between the two downloads is the include samples checked one also contained the file Sample+sample-....
However, the error for both on repair is:
.../Sample+sample-... cannot be renamed to .../Sample/sample-...
Note the file is downloaded with a plus sign but the par2 has directory separator.
Clicking repair on multipar it is able to create the Sample directory to put the sample file into it.
So is this a problem with the NZB as was told to the OP or is this something else?
Thanks

Re: Failing on virtually every nzb: "rar files failed to verify": : traceback "KeyError: 1"
I can't really comment on your scenario but I've mostly given up on SAB since this.
I've also been able to repair some files with Quickpar that SAB couldn't handle.

Re: Failing on virtually every nzb: "rar files failed to verify": : traceback "KeyError: 1"
I’ve found on the last 24 hours or so this started happening for me.
I have about 5 usenet servers usenetprime and frugal and a tweaknews gb account for fill. But almost everything has been failing. Now some thing I can understand, might be hit with DMca.
But generally pdf files are fine but all these are falling short as well.
https://pastebin.com/dl/HTKDBaXM
They all tend to look the same. I don’t think it’s specifically a sab issue, unless it a new build that was upgraded lately (I use the docker install and it’s 3.1.1 currently), I installed grabit on a machine and it seemed to complain as well. But I’ve never seen all servers have an issue before

In your pastebin sabnzbd.log, I don't see "rar files failed to verify" nor any traceback.psycik wrote: ↑January 7th, 2021, 1:17 am I’ve found on the last 24 hours or so this started happening for me.
