Folders & Renaming Help

Post by digitalvibe »

Trying to achieve a couple of things:

1. Currently, file downloads are placed within their own individual folders. This causes issues with some watch folder rules I have in place so would rather just download the file without it also generating its own folder.

2. Is there any kind of renaming option so that the e.g. mkv file name isn’t just a long random string but the actual name of the show/film?

Thanks.

Regarding my second question - I think the answer may simply be in the use of the Deobfuscate script however I can't locate it. According to the Wiki , "script is included with SABnzbd in the scripts folder of the installation directory. Place it in your Scripts Folder and on Linux systems add execute permission." Sorry for being dense but where do I find the installation directory on a Mac? I assume the Scripts Folder can be any folder I specify so long as I then provide the correct path to it within my config.

1: Add a * behind the Category Path (see Wiki).
2: Yes, use SABnzbd 3.1.1 and enable Deobfuscate Final Filenames.
