download 3.2.1 legacy fails every time

trying to update to latest version but am unable to successfully download Windows Standalone (32bit and legacy) (running Win 7).

Its most likely your virusscanner that doesn't trust 32bit software that also connects to the internet. Maybe you can disable it temporarily?

no virus scanner running, tried on win7 pc and win10 pc same result, it appears the download starts and then finishes in a matter of seconds but always is incomplete

Figured it out, Firefox was stating that "this type of file is not commonly downloaded"
Had to manually insist that I wanted to download the file , then it was ok.
Weird has never happened before.
