Post by Sarge137 »

Before updating to the latest version, I would download my nbz's from nbzplanet and the files would go to my nbz folder unpacked and named properly. Now they create individual folders which are named with 6 letters and a ~ with the file inside not renamed. Beginner User, pls help.

That's strange. What version are you using now?
What do you have set for your Category setting in the Config? Is anything not set to +Delete?
And did you maybe remove the * somewhere in Category settings?

I'm using 3.3.1. Nothing is set for +Delete and there are no * on the page. In fact I didn't touch anything after the upgrade.

Somewhere it is going wrong, because as you can see everything is set to False:
2021-07-08 21:15:00,298::INFO::[postproc:372] Starting Post-Processing on SPIDER~1 => Repair:False, Unpack:False, Delete:False, Script:Default, Cat:*

Can you enable +Debug logging and add the NZB again? Because then we can see how it sets the job options when the NZB is added.
If you click Show Logging, it will add an anonymized version of your configuration so it's easier for me to understand if you share the whole file.

I thought it was weird also as some of those options are checked off in the settings interface. In any case, how do I enable debugging ? If I'm right in thinking where it should, it isn't listed in the drop down options. .... Think I found it on status page.

Okay, did a fresh install. Cleared all my caches. I can now get the file to save without job folder, but it still refuses to save the final file as the job title. One thing I did notice is that when downloading in the queue, the title of the job is not showing the job title as before (ie ... name and episode of show)

Not sure if this has anything to do with it, but found this in the debug log:

2021-07-10 23:19:11,955::DEBUG::[nzbstuff:1930] Saving attributes {'cat': '*', 'pp': 3, 'script': 'Default', 'priority': 0,'final_name': 'FAD10E~1', 'password': None, 'url': 'FAD10E~1.NZB'} for FAD10E~1

This in particular: 'final_name': 'FAD10E~1

That sounds like a Windows problem.
How do you add the NZB?
