Clearing the temp folder - complete and incomplete

Post by bigjeffuk »

Hello.

Ive around 550gb of files in both complete and incomplete. Ive referenced the complete folder with my movies folder and all are there correctly, so it appears to be a duplicate.

Is it safe to delete the contents of the complete folder? my presumptions is that they would be deleted once complete but that doesn't seem to be the case. Also is it possible to schedule this clean up?

Thanks

The idea is that you keep stuff in Complete, and that Incomplete is empty after downloads have finished.

Downloads that cannot be completed, stay in Incomplete. So that is where I delete old stuff.

Hmmm ok. The word 'Temp' is perhaps confusing me and perhaps this question overlaps another app (radarr) which has a media folder set as 'D:\movies' is it the case that after radarr instructs SABnzbd to download, it moves the files from incomplete to complete and finishes its process. After that radarr also moves 'copies' the complete files into my 'D:\movies' and leaves a copy in complete folder? as such it would be safe for me to delete?

Sounds like I might be doubling up.
