Hey everyone. Great program, I love it. I came from newsleecher and using this client is a lot better. But, when I first installed sabn on my server, the directory scan was working. Now when I place a file into the directory I have to manually add it. It does not scan the directory anymore.
I have it setup this way.
I have one hdd doing most of the work, nzb directory, in completes, logs, cache. Directory scan is set at 10s. Another hdd is where the completed files go.
I am sharing the nzb directory so If I am at another computer, I can just drag and drop the nzb into the folder.

Are you using IPV6? Don't think so
Is the issue reproducible? Kind of
Dir scan is not queuing

Re: Dir scan is not queuing
On the server, can you access the nzb directory? on the shared nzb directory, did you set the user rights? so the MCE pc can access read and delete in the shared nzb directory?
Re: Dir scan is not queuing
Look in Config->Directories.
Do you specify an absolute path (starting with \ or x:\) ?
If not, the directory is relative to the directory shown at the top of the left section (default is "c:\documents and settings\USER\my documents").
Look in the Connections screen for warnings (or open the log file there).

Re: Dir scan is not queuing
Thanks dexes and shypike.
It was access rights. I didn't think of that because when I first installed sabnzbd, it would scan perfectly then one random day it stopped.
But it works now. Thanks again
