Hello
I want to format my machine desperately and have several in progess downloads. Can I move this off to a portable drive, format the machine and re-install Windows, then restore my sabnzbd stuff where the downloads would then resume from where the left off? Thanks.

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.

yes you can. you need to secure the sab directory; which includes your config and the cache directory if you have specified an alternate location for that. I believe if you haven't changed the default, this is all in the same directory.

If you copy all folders and files to the same locations,
it should work OK.

Stop SABnzbd before copying the files.
