NZBMatrix w/o API?

Trying to use this program with sickbeard to download some shows.  SB sends the info to SAB but then in SAB I get an error stating:

- https://api.nzbmatrix.com/v1.1/download ... xx&apikey= - URL Fetching failed; (Problem accessing nzbmatrix server (error:invalid_login)),

I don't want to have to get a VIP account at NZBMatrix as I'm just trying this out.  Is there any way to make this work without it?

You need VIP for api access, iirc.

If you want to have to pay for an indexer, use Newznab. Thread here.

I'm having the exact same error on my system and I DID sign up for a VIP account with nzbmatrix.  What did you end up doing as a work-around?

First try to verify your username and apikey
by pasting the full URL into the browser's address field.
