What are the real good NZB search sites?

Post by opentoe »

I have paid for a VIP with NZBmatrix.com and was looking for another site that may be really good. Of course the best one everyone recommends is NOT accepting registrations. I use Sickbeard, but only can use NZBmatrix.com for searching. Would it perform better if I had more search ability or something?

I have access to all the nzb sites I know of.
Newzbin is of course the inventor of NZB, but I don't find it better than NZBMatrix.
Nzbmatrix (VIP account of course) is the best I know of.

When I don't find something on Nzbmatrix, I go to Binsearch.info or nzbindex.nl. If it's on Usenet, but not on binsearch, it's because the name is coded.
Then, you can go to sites like binnews.in to get the coded name. There are also forums where things get posted with passwords.

Special mention to mysterbin.com that allows to search within archives. If you have a file named "the secret file.txt" in an archive named "TSF.rar", it will find it.

Everyone like different websites (nzbs.org, nzbsrus.com, merlin portal, medianzb...), so it's up to you to find your favorite!

nzbs.org/nzb.su is all I use. Sometimes I'll have to drop back to binsearch, but very rarely.

opentoe,

Is Merlin's Portal supporting RSS now with paid subscription? Recently they redid the site after some abuse and it doesn't appear they support RSS anymore.
