It seems when downloading SABnzbd universal binary using safari it appends .bz2 to the filename making it look like it needs to be extracted.
This is not the case, simply remove the .bz2 extension from the filename or download using firefox.
We are looking into the reason for this.

I've tested with 10.5.4 and Safari 3.1.2, and the file is mounted correctly (and no bz2 ext added).
With witch version of Safari and OSX do you have this issue ?

Not got a safari version, sorry.
The issue is with specific sourceforge.net servers that do not give the correct MIME type when serving the file. It has been reported since 2006. I did have a list with some offending servers as examples but i cannot find it at the moment.
