I'm not sure if this is possible, but is there any way to stop uploading from happening after/during a NZB is being downloaded? I'm on a college network that doesn't like P2P traffic, and also they ban using your MAC address.
As long as I'm here, how can I be sure my MAC address doesn't get tracked either? Thanks!

Re: Stop Uploading?
Sabnzbd does not upload anything and it is not p2p. So no worries, mate!Sai077 wrote:I'm not sure if this is possible, but is there any way to stop uploading from happening after/during a NZB is being downloaded? Re: Stop Uploading?
SABnzbd uploads something: it needs to tell the Usenet server which articles it wants.
MAC addresses do not get past the first router.
Only torrent users should worry about their IP address spreading.
Assuming they've got something to hide.
You're staying within the laws of your country, I hope.

Re: Stop Uploading?
It is necessary to limit the number of connections. Usually 50 is enough for normal speed. Disabling the uTP protocol and using the UPnP router can also help.
