SABnzbd 073B3 (but also seen on previous versions)
Windows XP SP3
I have a subscription with Hitnews for 10 Mb/s and 8 threads. I have 8 threads configured in the server settings.
SABnzbd shows always on the status page that it is connected using 8 threads but it lists consistently only 7. The missing tread varies in number but consistently one thread is not listed (thread 3 is missing in the picture below). As a test I have installed SABnzbd on another PC and on that PC it works consistently correct. I would not like to use one thread less so is there a way to confirm what the actual number of used threads is?
When for some reason SABnzbd is using less than 8 connections (for instance due to the server reporting that too many threads were used) then always the right number is listed:

Re: SABnzbd always showing one thread less
These are just snapshots.
The connections are only shown when SABnzbd is waiting for an article on that connection.
Don't worry about it, more connections doesn't always mean more speed.
Check with netstat or a similar tool.
Or set your max to 9

Re: SABnzbd always showing one thread less
Hi Shypike,
Netstat shows indeed consistently that all 8 threads are connected. So it appears indeed just to be a cosmetic issue.
