Postprocess never stops and can't restart.

Post by usk78dk »

I have an issue with my SABnzbd. I'm running v. 0.7.7 but it seems to have an issue. After things have been downloaded, the item is moved to history and a wheel shows the postprocessing is running, but nothing happens. I now have 10 items just postprocessing.

Further I can't shot SABnzbd doen or restart it. When I try, it's now longer available on the local site (localhost:9090), but the "SABnzbd.exe *32" process is still running in the task manager and never stops. Nothing happens after this, other than I have to shoot the process down or restart the server.

Can someone help me figuring out the issue?

Is there a par2 or an unrar process as well.
The safest bet is to shoot down that process instead.
Do realize that par2 repairs can take many hours on systems with modest CPUs.

BTW: Which operating system?

I finally seems to have SABnzbd up running again. I removed everything about the oldest item, which were post processing (both from incomplete downloads and from where it should be placed after processing). This seems to have solved the issue and it has started post-processing the rest.

The item I removed had status of unpacking, but frooze at 49/49, so don't know what the issue with this was.
