OSX Notifications no sound

Post by Bae Tard »

Hello,

I really like SABNZBD. I am unable to get any sound for SAB notifications. I am using Sierra and no fancy notification plug ins.

I have notifications set up under Notification Center in SABNZBD and within the Notification settings in Sierra.

No Sound Either Way. :(

Any ideas?

Thanks.

No idea. It seems to be a macOS setting and not something the app should do.
We'll look into it, as soon as we get round to Sierra.

I did a clean install of Mavericks and got the latest sabnzbd that has mavericks support and the sound for notifications does not work there either.

EDIT. I went back a few builds of Sabnzbd and found earlier versions do not make a sound notification either. I also tested with Elcap and Yosemite. Although Sabnzbd successfully ads it self to the Notifications list in OSX, the sound option does not work.

We use a third-party tool to interface to NC.
Probably there's some issu with it, we'll need to investigate this further, but it will take a while.
