With Sabyenc activated: nzbqueue says "unknown encoding"

Post by undivided »

installed sabyenc last night and it caused my downloads to read unrecognized encoding.
example from log file--------
2017-03-05 15:32:54,143::WARNING::[nzbqueue:837] 00-alien_ant_farm-anthology-cd-flac-2001.srr -> Unknown encoding

uninstalling sabyenc and restarting sabnzbd resulted in downloads working just fine again.

for the record I followed installation instructions on - sabnzbd.org/wiki/extra/sabyenc.html
for " on Linux in general "
also tried the PPA with same results on unknown encoding

Re: Sabyenc fail - unknown encoding

I can confirm what you describe:

With sabyenc installed:

Code: Select all

CubicleBlaBla.720p.x264.QAAC-SPACESAVERS.par2 -> Unknown encoding

Code: Select all

2017-03-05 22:28:36,226::WARNING::[nzbqueue:837] CubicleBlaBla.720p.x264.QAAC-SPACESAVERS.par2 -> Unknown encoding
Without sabyenc, I don't get that error.

I must say that in both cases the download fails because of too many missing articles.
