Memory Leak... in Chrome

Windows 10, computer on 24x7, Chrome memory usage for sabnzbd keeps growing > 1GB of RAM.
I saw it is a known/reported issue with however developers unable to reproduce.
I saw another post suggesting a solution, so I turned on the use_pickle and it appears to have resolved the problem.

Are you using the Plush skin? You should be using Glitter.

That switch that you changed cannot effect the memory usage of chrome at all!

I am having the same issue with Chrome. The sabnzbd tab crashed due to out of memory error.

Windows 7, computer on 24x7.
Chrome Version 57.0.2987.133 (64-bit)
Currently running sabnzbd 2.0.1RC1 but upgraded because I was experiencing this issue with 2.0.0RC1 originally.

I am using the Plush - gold skin (I really don't like Glitter...)
use_pickle is off

Is there anything else I can tell you or capture when this happens to help trace the cause?

None of the developers can reproduce it. My own SABnzbd Chrome tab uses about 55-65 MB. It changes on each automatic page refresh, sometimes it goes up, sometimes down, but I've not seen it above 65 MB.

So can you analyze yourself? https://developers.google.com/web/tools ... -problems/ has nice information how to find out where Chrome's memory usage is coming from. Suggestion: first try the method at "Discover detached DOM tree memory leaks with Heap Snapshots".

On my Chrome (with no memory issues):
