sabnzbd opens the wrong browser (Firefox) on macOS

Post by HomerJay »

Hello there,

at least on my machine, since updated to 2.0.0, the application is now only opening in Firefox (by the way, it opens two windows, where only one is needed and actually active), while Firefoy is NOT my default browser! I prefer to use Safari. It doesn't make a difference how I try to open the application: by double-clicking it in the Finder, or by opening a .nzb file. Before 2.0.0 this was fine.

My macOS version is 10.12.5.

Thanks!

It seems to be a bug in osx, other python based applications also suffer from it.
Will see if I can do anything or that Apple needs to fix it.

Same issue here. Also on macOS 10.12.5.
Keeping checking my Queue or history via the menubar and it keeps opening Firefox even though I've set my default browser to Safari multiple times.
