2.2.1 - Very Slow Speeds with server priorities

Post by zonly1 »

Hello, I noticed in the last day or so that my download speeds were very low (Less than 1MB) although I have a 250M connection. After some trial and error with my router and computer, I traced it down to Sabnzbd itself. I figured that if I have any servers that has a priority higher than 0, it would cause the slowdown.

If I have only One server enabled, the speeds are maxed out. If I have two enabled but with the same priority 0, also fine. If one of them is 0 and the other is 1 no matter which one, the download speeds are affected severely.

That just started to happen very recently. For now I have to keep my block servers disabled and keep my two main servers at priority 0.

Any ideas what is causing this? Is it an issue with 2.2.1?

Thanks a lot.

You could start by trying SABnzbd 2.2.2, or SABnzbd 2.3.0 alpha

Sander is right, 2.3.0Alpha (see Downloads page) should fix this.

I'm in the same boat, but to me it appears to not be so cut and dry. I need to flip priorities and which servers are enabled to get full bandwidth usage. This is terrible as I'm not able to use anymore than two servers; would like to also add in my block accounts.

I'm on a QNAP NAS and don't really want to venture from the normal installation routine I've always used. When can a fix be expected?

Cheers,
