Windows 2.3.2 'Access denied'

Post by larzeb »

Upgraded Sabnzbd-64 on Windows 2012 using installler. Launched appeared OK and logged on. However, if I go to the config menu selection at top right of main window and click on any tab, the window goes blank. At the top left of the window it says:

Access denied. All of the tabs behave in this manner. I cannot get back to the main window. I must relaunch Sabnzbd from the desktop icon. Then see the login window.

This is my first post. I am sorry if I misrepresented the issue by calling it a 'bug'.

It seems somehow some settings changed.
Probably best is to shutdown sabnzbd and then open the sabnzbd.ini file (location here: https://sabnzbd.org/wiki/advanced/directory-setup) and then find the lines:
Username
Password
Local_ranges
And remove all these 3 lines.
Then restart Sabnzbd.

It's of course strange that this changed with the update!

Thank you safihre, that did it. And I can get to it from any host on the LAN now. Before it would only show 'Access denied'.
