ERROR: Cannot create backup file for /config/sabnzbd.ini.bak

Post by madhackbt »

  • - Running on FreeNas 11.2
    - Running 2.3.8 sabnzbd
    - Moved older jail setup to new IOCAGE jail setup, and it appeared to work.
    - Moved sabnzbd.ini and folders to fstab mounted folder (outside of jail). It is mounted as RW: /config
    - Started getting ERROR: Cannot create backup file for /config/sabnzbd.ini.bak
    - _sabnzbd user is a member of shareusers group
    - ownership of /config and files is root:shareusers
    - sabnzbd.ini.bak file IS created with the last restart / start time and date.
    - sabnzbd.ini does not appear to get updated through the UI when making changes (I tried the wait_for_dfolder (on), but it did not persist.)
    - I cannot for the life of me see where my permissions are wrong, or why this is not working.
    - 100MB test ran, and I was able to handle a request from sonarr.
    - I was unable to test using basic settings, although I am going to try it again.
    - I am unable to post in log data because I am a new user to this forum, and I am not allowed to post links

Sounds very much like a permissions issue, in the first page of the Config, is the path to the sabnzbd.ini shown correctly?
