Change status bar color on Mac when Speed Limit is engaged

When paused, sabnzbd status bar icon will switch to grey, which is great. Would this be possible too for when the speed limit is set? Indicate speedlimit with a red icon maybe? That would be awesome since you can easily forget to remove the speed limit because there is no indication about it right now.
