I use the 'check before download' option and its great, however it would be nice if i could segregate 1 of my usenet connections to the task of checking any downloads which have not been checked yet.
When my queue is full and the active download finishes, it has to check the next file first( which is slow but worth it), whereas if the next up would have been already checked, my connection could stay saturated.

Re: Dedicate 1 connection to precheck
We're not happy with the pre-download check feature.
Doing what you ask would mean a substantial redesign of the software,
which we're not going to do for a feature we prefer not to have.
The problem is that it can never be reliable,
due to a design error in the NZB format and the way some Usenet providers handle DMCA requests.

Right, it was an experiment which, in the real world, doesn't perform as planned.
