maybe you can add a native way to dynamicly regulate the downloadspeed like my script here:

Code: Select all

github()com/zobe123/sabnzbd-Speed-maximizer
it checks the ping and increase/decrease the speed via API, so it 's always on maximum speed...

So https://github.com/zobe123/sabnzbd-Spee ... er/ping.sh

Nice. I was thinking about the same.

Questions:
- an average below 200 ms is OK for you?
- for what reason did you create the script? Did you experience overloading of your line? Of did you get a sawtooth? Or ... ?

This average ping consists of 3x ping - so 200/3 is OK for me. Of course, everyone should decide for themselves.

The problem is my ISP, with 100% load he throttled me the download rate enormously (here is a certain intelligence behind, which I want to avoid) but at least the problem you have when you download something else, you have always to pause sabnzbd first.
