If for instance I forget to set the +S option in a download, it would be handy to be able to go to the history queue, and *IF* the original incoming folder still exists, be able to press a button to re-attempt post processing.
This would be handy for when post processing fails too.

Seconded. I just had a file fail unraring because of space, but I made the space, and it would have been extremely helpful if I could have just hit "Retry" instead of doing everything manually.
