What do you mean by "out of shape"? I was made aware that since removing the app name label on the main screen that the icon looks a little to the left which I fixed for beta 2 of 1.0.7. The other reports of it looking fuzzy I can't really tell since the iPhone 6 and 6+ simulator looks fine.

VeriZon delayed the shipment of my 6+ by 2 weeks so hopefully it will ship on the 19th and I can then address any issues that I see that the simulator displays as fine.

If you can take a screenshot and highlight what you mean then I can hopefully fix it before I get my new phone.

Thanks

Hey Mike,

Verizon finally sent my phone and I just got it set it up. I see what you mean regarding the app feeling 'zoomed' on the iPhone 6+ (not sure if its the same feeling on the 6). I'm going to look into it to see if i can make it not scale it up to iPhone 6 res but instead let it auto expand like it should.

Edit: Looks like a simple launchscreen forces it use the native screen resolution. I can send you a beta build if you want to test it.

I noticed that and should haev been fixed on 1.0.6.3 but with the splashscreen mod, my iPhone 6+ is not showing any scaling/zooming/vertical stretch of the icons. I have to modify a few other things since a few of the views, i don't like how it looks on the iPhone 6+. Once i have that i'll post it as 1.0.6.4 on Cydia or might just say F it and put it out as 1.0.7 (which will have the iPad enabled).

FYI-- if you want to try out 1.0.7 beta please visit my site -- http://nzbunity.dozenzb.com/beta/

Would love to test the iPad version but not jailbroken, unfortunately. Looking forward to trying it out if you make the hockeyapp version universal.

Any thoughts on ditching the 'quadrant' system on the main page? I think simply a list of items with the app icon to the left (they way all your texts look in the 'Messages' app) would look much cleaner. It would also make it easy to rearrange/hide.

Also, continuing on the UI, is there a reason why things slide in from the right when you switch pages? I think it would be better if you keep the row of icons at the bottom at all times, and the 'Main Menu' button on the top left at all times. The buttons at the bottom could then be used to switch to the different pages for each of the individual apps.

I will post the universal version on Hockey (probably tomorrow) but if your iPad is not on my dev account (which I doubt since I cleared out all the iPads) then you wont be able to use it unless if you resign the IPA.

On the iPad version, I got away from the 'quadrant' style and onto a left menu that is small and is always present so if you are in Sonarr and want to go to NZBGet, you don't have to hit back but can tap on nzbget and it will load right up. Since I just got my 6+, i'm thinking (similarly to what you said in a PM) that I can get away from that style and let it use the iPad style since it has more 'real-estate' to work with.

As for the pages coming in from the right, that is an auto transition from the iOS system when using a Navigational system which is what i use for both iPad and iPhone.

screenshot of iPad version (this is an older screenshot. I moved the ad away from the bottom left and increased the resolution of the posters (if available).
