Just bought the app. So far it's working well, but I'm hoping for better support for NZBMatrix with regard to naming and categories, as well as any support for Binsearch.info.

I seem to have fixed the NZBMatrix auto-naming issue. You will need to have NZBMatrix credentials setup in SABnzbd+, but it works!

Please add requests for other sites to have auto-naming to this issue report:

In other news, version 1.1 should be submitted to Apple soon and this will bring fast-app switching support as well as a few bug fixes and new features. As always, check redmine for more details.

Re: SABCommand iPad App (v1.1 IN REVIEW)

Post by nomar383 »

Version 1.1 has been submitted for review.

What's new:

*Removed save button in settings. All settings now auto-save.
*Added fast-app switching.
*Various bug fixes/improvements
*You can now send NZBMatrix nzbs by link instead of by file. This allows the name to be auto-filled by SABnzbd+. You may need you NZBMatrix settings entered into SABnzbd+ for this option to work properly.

What is the status of 1.1?

It has been a while. Was the update rejected?

I think it will be out today actually. It was in a waiting status for iOS 4.2 last time I checked (and that's out today).

V1.1 is on the store now.

Now with name auto-fill if you send by link from NZBMatrix!

Good, glad to hear it :)

And you always have the old way to fall back on if you run into any problems. I'll be trying to add this functionality for other indexes in coming versions, but I know NZBMatrix is one of the most popular.

Just saw some screenshots on App Store. That yellow color, can that be changed? Thats just horrible to watch if you ask me. I would like to have a dark theme, black/white, something like that.

Seems promising, but the design could be improved. Which it properly will at some time :)

Actually, I have been considering changing those backgrounds to close to what you describe (I like the darker theme idea). Maybe in the next month or two.

I'm focusing on stability and improved features for the 1.2 release.

Cool, but as long as you still have the design in your mind, that would be great. Is doesn't quite fit my taste yet (will it ever fit everyones?)... But a darker theme would help, ALOT!

Wouldn't it be possible for the 1.2 release, just to change the background color to something else? and then in maybe 1.3 (or something) provide at theme manager (with some preset themes, maybe also some custom)?

If the color became black, then i'm already one step closer to buying your software (once i get my iPad, which hopefully will be in a couple of weeks)

I appreciate your suggestions and will probably look into at least a background change soon.

PS. Might want to wait for the iPad 2 :). We're at the end of the product cycle now!
