I have no plans for an iPhone app. I think myNZB is great at what it does and my app would not scale down well.

My web interface for NZBpad works great on the iPad; direct APIs for indexing sites in myNZB works great on the iPhone.

Also, if anyone else would like to leave a review on the app store, I would greatly appreciate it :)

i just found this app on applestore the other day and i can tell you've spent alot of time improving app itself but presentation is really taking back seat.

Screenshots in the store are horrible , absolutely no web site describing what app does , i havent found any tutorials or movies showing how app works etc ....

Granted i can figure this out on my own but what about other less savvy users ?!?! Something to consider.

There is documentation in the app explaining almost every feature. A setup guide for LAN/WAN access has also just been completed.

I've been meaning to update the screenshots to reflect the latest version.

I've also bean meaning to create a page for the app on my main site. There is a site where you can track progress and ask for support in the forums. That's at http://redmine.kalenhansen.com

I've been very focused on feature and functionality before making it super pretty. I figured that users would rather have tons of feature FIRST, then see interface changes. I am planning on doing an interface update for version 1.0. That will pretty much be the entire focus of that update and I plan on hiring a graphic designer to help out.

Just wanted to drop in for an update:

Version 0.9 is nearing release status. Probably another week or two. Full bookmark support, email of logs, a test server button, and a login screen are the main highlights of this release.

Version 1.0 is going to be a major release that will bring a massive interface overhaul. I am hoping to have that ready by the end of the summer. I'm even hiring a graphic designer since I'm no interface guru :)

As always, log bugs and submit feature requests here:

If you want to contact me directly, fell free to drop me an email. I love hearing from users!

Apple had just emailed me on version 0.9 and rejected it due to the app name. Apparently the "pad" in the name may "be confusing to users and incorrectly create an association with Apple products". I have emailed them back, but really don't know what to do at this point. I have used this name everywhere and submitted multiple versions without this problem before...

Version 0.9.1 has been submitted to Apple for review. Please follow @SABCommand on twitter for the latest updates, or check Redmine.

This update brings the following changes:

[ADDED] ability to email yourself a config backup
[CHANGED] bundle display name to "SABCommand" ("NZBCommand" was a typo)

I expect it to be approved in about a week.

IMPORTANT: In the coming v1.0 update over 50+ features will be added including a massive interface overhaul. This update will wipe out all of your current settings due to some changes I had to make because of the required app name change. Please use the email backup feature to save your settings so you can restore them later! That's the main purpose of this release!
