I meant a script that is run via CP after the CP rename, not from SABnzbd.
Oh then that would work.  So CP will be launch scripts then?  But this would only work for movies that CP sends to SAB, right?

This would eventually work for all the movies that CP finds in your movie download folder (set in settings).

Hello,

I am running the latest version from git and I don't see the thumb nails that I used to see before.  I am not sure what's going on and I don't see anything in the logs that show anything unusual.

Any thoughts?

Are there any thumbnails in the cache directory?

It seems the release date functionality only takes into account US DVD/BluRay release dates. If the movie is released elsewhere in the world first CP doesnt pick it up as its not going to start looking for it for weeks as the US release is still some way off.

Is there a way round this? For example having the ability to just not use the release schedule?

@pair of dimes
Why don't you want to use the build in update function?
There will be an auto-update function soon.

@vdown
It does a search for all the movies every 7 days. So it does pick those up, but with a delay of 7 days max ;)

Isn't it possible to make it an option in the config?
Waiting 7 days kinda defeats the use for Couch Potato cause I would have looked it up manually by then...

Well, it doesnt defeat the purpose of CP. You just have to wait a few days longer.
It still searches for the movie when you add it, whatever the ETA is.

I'm gonna recode the RSS searches, so they only need 1 search per movie per provider. This way, the providers won't get hammered with request and we can decrease the interval between checks.

@Ruudberger : I am a little confused now

In the setting I see search every XX hours.
Isn't this the time between searches for movies ?

As I was assuming that CP was looking every XX hours (as set in settings) for all movies,  am I wrong in assuming this ?

Yes that is the main search. It is used for the movies that don't have a ETA or are in a certain release range of that.
The "non-configurable 7 days search" is for ALL the movies, even though the ETA is for 2012 (or whatever) it will search for it. This is for movies like Centurion (2010), that has an ETA for August 2010 (US), but is available earlier, because it and European movie (ETA Germany, Febuary 2010).
