Sabnzbd and sickbeard worked just fine.

Does anyone know what could have gone wrong?

Is it running in the same machine as SABnzbd and SickBeard ?

What host ip are you using?

Verify your server date.

CouchPotatoServer takes into consideration the Movie release date so that it doesn't lookup that movie if it is in the future. Like it is not suppose to release a DVDrip if the DVD is not being released for next 4 months.

For Trakt importing movies from my watchlist, do I need to put password, or is API key sufficient? It's weird that both have fields.

CouchPotato v2 shows in tray and then disappears. (WIN7x64)

Post by J-J »

After installing CP v2 on my Windows 7 PC and I start it, it shows in the tray but than disappears.

I restored my tray (using this thread) and when I click the icon it just shows 'loading...' (not clickable). CP is running as a process.

I can't go to CP with my browsers (FF/IE) using 'localhost:5050' or '127.0.0.1:5050'.
Afterwards I installed CP on a fresh copy of Windows 7, without installing anything else, but it gives me the same problem.

I checked my ports with 'netstat -o' but there's not any program using port 5050.

When installing CP v2 on a fresh copy of Windows Server 2008 R2 it works normally.

Anyone that can help me? (here's the log file)

Thanks

Yea, I am having the same problems as Ingognito. I have been unable to figure out anything that explains the issue so far. Any other input would be great. Are others even having the problems (the issue is specifically with nzbs sent to sabnzbd from CouchPotato 2.0.5). So far I am not even sure if the issue is with sab or couch (though I "think" it is probably on the couchpotato side but I wanted to post here, too).

I am having some issues with newznab providers. I have it CP configured with nzbs.su as the only provider. What happens is when CP goes to search for the release it seems to reboot CP. If I clear the log, run a forced search the log shows the same lines as if it was just started fresh. Any ideas?

OS: OpenIndiana 151a7
CP: 393c14de5466497eb51d10bfe1f65febad658535 January 7th, 2013 Build

Service is being run by it's own user, it has full rights to the directory where it's being run from as well as the home directory where the logs etc are created.

Cleared the log, went to the wanted section and clicked "Refresh the movie info and do a forced search". Here is the resulting log.

Why is the search frequency (cronjob) so inaccurate? I set it for once a day (*,3,7), but I check the api hits for the only account it's connected to and I see 7 hits per day for the last few days. And no I don't have sickbeard on or any other app. I also restart after a change.

How many movies do you have in Couchpotato? and of those movies, how many of them are for movies that have not yet released?

Couchpotato will only search for movies that have been released, if it is a future movie it will not search and will show "too early to search" in the logs. Also you have your cronjob to run at 03:07 am every day, so it is only searching once a day. If there are only 7 valid movies to search for, then this is why your indexer is only showing 7 API hits per day

Make sure you have the newznab address correct. It is NZB.su not NZBS.su

Anyone else having issues with it not finding some movies that are indexed? Example: Les Miserable (2012), on the two indexers I have in CP settings have a file fitting my quality settings (HD - 720p or 1080p) for 4.2 days, but CP hasn't snatched it yet, even manually searching doesn't seem to detect it.

Here is the log for when I search for the movie. I noticed that it searches for the title with the accent on it, which causes some weird lettering in the log, so I changed the name to one without the accent and searched again. The NZB doesn't have an accent in the filename.

Code:

It also isn't showing the newest Cloud Atlas release. Did 2.0.7.1 break Newznab support?

Hi,
For about a couple of weeks now I've been having issues with couchpotato downloading the same release multiple times and also downloading every version it can find without waiting to see if the first nzb it snatched was successful or not. It's junk up bandwidth like crazy and I've had to shut it down temporarily.
I've upgraded to the latest version (14th April) and still get the same error. Is this still a known problem? I've seen a few bug reports around this and they've been marked as fixed but I'm still getting the error.

I have this same issue.. CP has downloaded 720p and 1080p copies of Jack Reacher, and Broken City like 3 times. I noticed it when I added Broken City.. it added both 720p and 1080p right away. i thought it was just a fluke, so I deleted the 1080p version from the queue on sab, and let it go. I checked the next day and noticed that it re-snatched 1080p, and downloaded both, and then again the same way I think the next day. It did it the same with Jack Reacher. It ended up grabbing everything it could find, then doesn't realize it downloaded, so it keeps going.
