only had to change owner on the file and it worked

thought the file was too small when i looked at it before i posted in the forum so didn't think it would hold all the info i had in queue

I have found another bug today as i was checking my downloaded movies... i noticed a folder called "Movies, Aspirin and Vultures (2005) [1080P]" and afaik i did not download this movie (in fact i didn't even know a movie called like this exists)....

I checked the log and this is what i saw:

So i downloaded "V for Vendetta (2005) [1080P]" and it gets renamed and tagged like "Movies, Aspirin and Vultures (2005) [1080P]"

is there an official place where bugs can be submitted?

The userscript only works with IMDB.  I thought you could add other sites to the script too but that's not how it works.  I have a plugin for FF called Advanced URL Builder.  If there is something I like on any site, I select the name of the movie, right click, select find using IMDB, and it pops up another tab with the search results.  From there I can add it with the userscript if I want.  Not the most elegant solution but for now it works.  You'll find if you are able to tag the year in the search you will get a more direct result.  Without the year you will get a list.

I'm new to the whole usenet world, and I think SABnzdb and CP are fantastic apps, I'll do my part to spread the word.

I do have a question about CP that I'm sure has been asked, but I cannot find the answer;

What criteria does CP use to determine a quality? For example, if I search for a movie with the 'Screener' setting, what does it look for? Keywords in the filename, or some other criteria?

I understand the file size variables, but wasn't sure about the difference between the names,

Thanks for a great app, I am new at this nzb thing and am loving CP to bits! I did notice a bug in renaming, I downloaded a screener for Black Swan (2010), the right movie was downloaded but it was renamed Blank Screen (1999). I find this strange as the program had itself made a search for ´Black Swan´ so what to name the file should not be in question.

I get that, I was looking for sites that have a list of the upcoming releases and link to imdb too. Found this http://www.movieinsider.com/dvds/ & http://www.dvdactive.com/news/releases/

However, that plugin sounds useful too, will search if there's a similar plugin for Chrome.

It really seems like the developer likes the movie: "Movies, Aspirin and Vultures (2005)"

i placed 4 new movies in the scan folder:

- forgetting sarah marshall
- The Matrix Trilogy
- Kill bill vol. 2

The end result was ANother folder called "Movies, Aspirin and Vultures (2005)" with 4 cd's in them. CD1 is kill bill 2, cd 2-4 are The matrix. The MKV file for forgetting sarah marshall was deleted completely....Debug log below. Please fix this asap.

To be completely honest I am unsure as to how that would help...as I stated before the only times the renamer appears in the log is start and shutdown...it is never ever invoked anywhere in between:

My problem: Using CouchPotato on QNAP Linkstation 219p, renaming is enabled, directories set, renamer never does anything ever...

I keep getting this error message in my logs;

API Key incorrect

I go back to nzbmatrix, regenerate a new API and this then works for a few days until the above error message reappears.

Any idea guys?

The adding a trailer is a really nice option but it's reliability for grabbing the correct movie is really low for me.  Does anyone know if there is a different script I can run with a different application?  I'd guess that more than half the ones CP has downloaded are incorrect.

It would be nice to be able to configure Couch Potato so that it searchers for movies at a certain time instead of every X hours, something that's being considered?

Is there a way to "force post-processing" at any given time? Seems that CP is waiting for other things (searches) to complete before working to move d/l'd files to their final home. Would love to be able to tell CP to handle all post processing ahead of further searching.

You really think that ??

Did you even think about the possibility that the renamer just could not find out what movies you have downloaded ?
As that is the problem , just make sure there is an nfo with imdb link in the folder , and you should be ok
