Having an issue with some movies being added incorrectly. Some IMDb pages have the page title start with "IMDb - " instead of the trailing "IMDb". This has the effect of movies being added as "IMDb - MOVIENAME".

Example pages:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1728979/
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0493459/

Using Firefox 8 and CP r34 windows

Code: Select all

Tekz08 I had the same issue.. the folder solution was what I spotted to. It seems most NZB's used to be in folders, and now they aren't. I reported the bug to RuudBerger.

I'm really hoping for a new version soon that has the Manage tab working. Does anyone know if something is coming soon?

Okay I have got CP installed, however it seems to be adding stuff to my "wanted" list without my consent - this is resulting in stuff starting to download and I have to go in and kill the download.
Any thoughts?

UPDATE: Looks like the Blu-Ray.com RSS stuff was getting added.
UPDATE #2: Stuff is still getting added, no idea from where.

Don't know if I'm doing it wrong but I couldn't work out how to get this to scan in my existing collection? I've used another media manger to download covers, fanart and info data to files stored with the media, which XBMC reads. All my files are in the format "movie name (year).ext" and stored in a single flat directory structure.

I'd like to scan in my existing stuff first so better versions can be downloaded or i dont have duplicates etc.

I've tried to post about this issue on the CP forums over the last 3 days but my discussions will not appear on the website (they appear to have all been frozen in moderation).

To put it simply, CouchPotato thinks that Killer Elite (2011) = Breach (2007). It downloads the correct movie (Killer Elite) but deletes my copy of Breach and moves Killer Elite into Breach's folder.

When I try to download Breach (after force renaming Breach to Killer Elite), it downloads Killer Elite again.

It's very bothersome that CP just deletes a movie. Makes me uncomfortable for the rest of my collection.

Log of trying to redownload Breach:

ahhh I GIVE UP.. I tried to look up as much as I can to fix this myself but no luck.. Couchpotato (or sabnzbd), when it creates directories and renames/moves files, is doing so in a way that makes them unreadable on my Synology NAS for regular users. I have to manually go and chmod 777 of the movie file only the other files are correctly given permissions. Not sure if CP is doing this or sabnzbd is not setting the right permissions..
My setup is this..

temp folder starts at /volume1/downloads/incomplete
after files are processed at /volume1/downloads/complete

and finally moved to to /volume1/dvr/movies/

However end result is http://minus.com/m6QRyDXSf

I have put pics of all my settings based on reading through the forums without any luck, can someone please look these over and please help me sort this out. thanks.

SABnzbd has the option to set permissions for the final result.
See Config->Folders.
What other program do afterwards, I don't know.

Recently, it seems like downloads being processed by SABnzbd which are sent from CouchPotato are not having their categories applied correctly.

To elaborate, I have a 'Movies' category with its own pre/post processing directories which has worked flawlessly for me for well over a year. Now, it seems the downloads are only taking the default "completed downloads folder" setting in Config/Folders of SABnzbd.

I'll try to dig through the logs and get some evidence of the issue, but is anyone else running into this? The combination worked flawlessly until recently when upgrading CouchPotato to the latest version and using the IMDB Watchlist integration.

SABnzbd: 0.6.8
CouchPotato git-6970c10

**edit ** This should sum it up from the log:

You're a couple a few versions behind with SABnzbd.

Thanks for the quick reply. Upgraded to 0.6.15 - same issue. Rebooted the host and all.

This may be larger than SABnzbd, I just noticed that CouchPotato is no longer performing post processing on movies after being moved into the directory it scans.

Been a fun day. :)

Hi everyone,

Cp worked great for ages but the last few days stopped working via the tab up the top and the imdb addon. Also the android app just saves them for later.

Have downloaded the latest v35, and done a brand new fresh install.

My logfile after trying to add one movie

Hi,

I'm having a hard time "teaching" couchpotato to download automatically. It happens a lot situations like "found 720p/1080p but waiting for x hours".

Example:

8:14:13 INFO [ app.lib.cron.yarr] Finished search.
08:14:13 INFO [ app.lib.cron.yarr] Found Hugo 2011 1080p BluRay X264 AMIABLE but waiting for 435 hours.
08:14:13 INFO [.lib.provider.yarr.search] Checking if *******
08:14:12 INFO [ app.config.updater] No update available
08:14:03 INFO [pp.lib.provider.yarr.base] Wrong: Hugo 2011 720p BluRay X264 AMIABLE, contains other quality, looking for 1080P
08:14:03 INFO [er.yarr.sources.nzbmatrix] Found: Hugo 2011 1080p BluRay X264 AMIABLE
08:14:03 INFO [pp.lib.provider.yarr.base] NZB 'Hugo 2011 720p BluRay 1GB clight77' misses the following required words: x264
08:13:52 INFO [er.yarr.sources.nzbmatrix] Searching: ******

My wait time was 21 days. I then switched to 0/-1 since I changed to search for 720p or 1080p only. If one found it will stop the search.
Restarted, forced check, and the same thing happens...

Please advise.

Thank you very much,
anthonws.

EDIT
------------------------------

Solved. Deleted and re-added the movie and the correct wait time setting was applied. Is it normal not to "refresh" this info for already "wanted" movies?
