Hi,

a user from France here, very nice application, better than myNZB and SABCommand :)

But could you add support for setting Speed limit? (100k, 300k, 500k, etc...)
And also the time to pause the server (5, 10, 30 min, etc..)

Thank you very much for your nice job!

Hi,

at least the option to pause the downloads already is integrated.
When you are in the Queue-Window, you will see in the top right corner a small arrow button. When you hover over it, you have the possibility to pause downloads.

I am not sure but I think that you also might be able to set a connection speed linitation there... I guess this you have to check for yourself.

Hi guys,

Thanks a lot for your feedback!

Right now we are testing and finalizing the next update. I will have a look and see if we can still add any of your requests with the following update.

Thanks for your efforts,

It's just nice to be able to pause for some time (20min for exemple) when you get a Skype call and you want to stop downloads (and usually I forget to start it again after :) )

And the speed limit is also important for me, so thank you again.

Nice work in general !!

We've just submitted Tanis 1.1 to the App Store!

App Store review takes between 5 to 12 workdays (if all goes well).

Whats new in this version:
* URL scheme support
Open Tanis by calling: tanis:// from apps like Prowl

* Temporary pause
Pause the server for a select period of time

* Download speed limit

* Search history
Execute previous queries

* Additional search filters
Intuitive search filtering

- Filter by group
- Filter by Max age
- Sort results
- By size, largest first
- By age, latest first

* UI enhancements & bug fixes

This will be the last big update to support iOS 3.1.

The new version crashed at almost any GUI interaction. So I thought it would be a good ideate reinstall the app. But now it is gone from the AppStore.

What's going on?

Hi pburns,

We screwed up. A pretty bizarre bug wasn't noticed during our tests.. We've corrected the error and uploaded a new binary to Apple. Unfortunately we are unable to determine how long it will take for them to review. In the mean time we've pulled the new version. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience..  :-(

Thanks for the quick response. No big deal since I had the old version still lying around in iTunes.

any plans to add support for nzbmatrix bookmarks, as in adding bookmarks, viewing bookmarks (and downloading them) and deleting bookmarks?

Yup. First priority though is to update Tanis as a univeral binary  :)

Is the indexer supported (NZBs.org)? :)

Really looking forward to testing the iPad version!

Nope - not yet. Unfortunately they don't allow new members (we do not have a membership).
