I'm having an issue w/ manual processing. I've just redownloaded LL fresh from git, and when I told it where my downloaded books already are, and hit 'manual processing' I get nothing.

Am I missing something?

I have the same problem regarding trying to process files that I previously downloaded. Is that what the 'manual processing' button is for?

Its probably having some form of error, if you could check/provide the debug logs that would be more useful

If you open the physical saved file it will show the debug log

Which saved file? I looked in the log file directory, and the only log file it had showed the same info as the logs in the web interface.

That should have been the one. If there are no errors in the log then its a bit hard for me to speculate as to why its not post processing. Perhaps if you recently updated the paths to your downloads (and path to where you want them moved) are not correct.

Having trouble with nzb.su not working with LL.
I got this when I emailed them "thats a problem with the application then--not using a proper user-agent."
Seems like Headphones did a similar update a few days ago.

Having issues with new install,

I deleted my old instance and reinstalled from github. Now when adding loading books to authors they do not show up on author page but they are updated in database.

Yeah that's a bug I think. You have to choose a language from the dropdown at the top.

It's probably worth removing that as a lot show under unknown anyway.

I cleared out the language settings in setup. Of the books I added 3 are ENG and the rest are Unknown. I updated database directly to make all books ENG for now.

Unfortunately not all of the books on goodreads have a language, so many show up as unknown. If the page shows up as blank it's because you have no default language setup in config (or if you do, the author has no books in that language on good reads). When I find the time I will add the ability to change the language of a book through the interface, however, fixing provider issues is the priority at the moment.

Wouldn't it be better to just remove the language option altogether so that we always see all available books? It's kind of a pain having to check through a few languages to make sure all the books are there.

What about just adding a small language indicator next to each book result, the we see everything and also the associated language?

I will look into at the very least making the default page display all books regardless of language. I had originally made the assumption that you would only want to see the books in languages you know but I am happy to change it when I get the chance.
