Download failed

Post by ugokanain »

How can I indicate that a download failed. I tried exit 1 at the end of the script, but still completes the dl as good.

Been getting too many posts that are spam, and would like to set these as failed when the file isn't a movie. This should make CP grab another release (hopefully).

Currently a non zero exit code has no influence on SABnzbd status.
This will change in a future release.

So the only option is to move the folder? Would this cause sab to consider the post as failed?

Well, your script can do as it pleases,
it won't change anything for SABnzbd.
The script is about the last step of post-processing,
except cleanup and email.

Release 0.8.0 will have the option of failing the job when the script returns non-zero.
