Hi guys,

I've followed all the tutorials for post processing but can't get SAB to rename the tv shows correctly.
I've got the NZB filtering into my SAB queue with 'tv' category attached,
I've got the autoprocess script configured (only blank section in the cfg file is web root, as its on the same mac, I assume it doesnt need this ?).

It's not throwing any errors out when post processing, it just doesnt rename the files !! Any ideas ?

Ive been using this a while, and previously had a custom script which converted to .264 mp4 as it did this, but still only renamed files on occasion. I then lost my hard drive and had to start from scratch, and now I can't get a single one to rename !!

It looks like the script is being run.
Keep in mind a few things though:
The current directory in which the script starts is not the location of the files to be renamed.
You need to switch (in the script) to $1
Files may be in sub folders of $1 (depending on what you told SABnzbd to do).
You should add quotes around each parameter, because there may be embedded spaces. So: "$3"

Sorry, I've not delved into script writing myself, just using the standard script provided in the package, could you explain in a little more detail ?

Is anyone able to help surely this is just something simple Im missing ? Using the standard post proc SabtoSickbeard.py script, I've set up the cfg file, the script is running for files, it's just not renaming them ... what am I missing ?

but I'm not wanting sickbeard to do it, Im wanting sab to do it ? I'm pretty sure it's not rocket science, Im obviously missing something simple, just need someone to help me ?!

So can no-one help with this ?? All Im wanting to do is have the autprocess script run, and it's not renaming any of my files, so I'm having to rename them by hand. This has been up over a month with 400 views, I just need a little help guys. I've no idea what I'm doing wrong

SickBeard is abandonware. Try switching to the Sick Rage fork, or ditching both and moving to Sonarr.
