failing to connect to server

Post by JustinChase »

I've started SAB, but it's not downloading anything now. It was working yesterday, but not tonight.

I'm getting...

Code: Select all

Server: news.usenetserver.com

Status: Enabled

# Connections: Failed to connect: (9, 'Bad file descriptor') [email protected]:563
which I've not seen before. I'm not sure that it means, or how to fix it. I've verified usenetserver is working fine, and they don't' have any network issues.

I restarted the SAB docker: no better.

I removed the EDGE=1 variable: no better

I removed the container, and recreated it: no better.

I changed network setup from bridge to host: no better.

I changed it back to bridge: no better.

I ran out of ideas of things to try.

Suggestions?

So you do this within a docker container? Did you reboot the whole system?

Which version of SABnzbd?
What if you click on Test Server?
With SAB logging set to +Debug, find the lines: "My IPv4 address = " and "My IPv6 address = ": what do they say?

I did not reboot the whole server, but did reboot docker system.

version 7.2 of SABnzbd
when I click on Test Server, the button goes grey, but nothing ever seems to happen
I'll change the logging and report back.

I just tested it again, and now it seems to be working. Must have been a usenerserver issue.

Thanks for helping though.
