Hey guys, I am trying
hard to add omgwtfnzbs.org as a server (I currently have another one working). I have a VIP account, and I have my API, username and password. I also have sickbeard and it works with omgwtfnzbs and test successful, however while it finds the nzbs I can't get them to download. Just about every combination I try using these credentials and api.omgwtfnzbs.org won't work (SSL or not). I am hoping (praying) someone here has this working and can provide me the bits of info I need to make it work such as url, port, etc.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks ALBino.
Ah, makes sense. So omgwtfnzb is my indexer which Sickbeard used to *find* the files I want. When passed along to Sabnzbd, that app then needs usenet server (provider) that will actually allow me to download the file(s). Correct? If so, any suggestion on a good server? I don't need to go cheap :-)

Yep, sounds like you've got the hang of it now. If you're only looking for brand new stuff then Frugal is reliable, inexpensive, and the owner is active on a lot of forums.

Thanks for the quick reply. I am looking at USN Usenetserver, $100 for the year with unlimited down, 2968 retention days, ssl, and 'free' vpn (included in package). Any reason not to pull the trigger?

I would personally advice not to buy year packages without trying a month first. Since there is some difference in availability of highly sought after downloads..
