Hi,
I have just updated and I can no longer see the files that have downloaded. I have granted read & write permission to the group sc-download (for my download folders) - any ideas?
Also in categories I used to save movies to /volume1/downloads/complete/Movies, Music to /volume1/downloads/complete/Music etc but cannot get this to work anymore, sure I am missing something simple....Relative folders are based on: /volume1/downloads/complete so I added /Movies & /Music respectively in Folder path Folder/Path in categories.
Cheers

Re: Synology - cannot see downloaded files
You did all the steps in https://github.com/SynoCommunity/spksrc ... Management ?
Also the Windows ACL bit?
In that case you'll need to create an issue at SynoCommunity, they handle the permissions part:

Re: Synology - cannot see downloaded files
Hi,
Thanks , yes I had done all that but i have found the issue.....case sensitive folder names!!
I was downloading to: /volume1/downloads/complete/TV
But
It should have been: /volume1/Downloads/complete/TV
So I presume as SABnzbd can see the download files and I cannot, the system has created a folder which I have no rights to call 'downloads'......anyway, thought I would post my findings in case anyone else made the same schoolboy error.
Thanks again for the help.

Re: Synology - cannot see downloaded files
I was experiencing the same problem yesterday and also found the problem beeing the case sensivity.
As I did not cross that problem before I am wondering, if the case sensivity in SABnzbd is new - at least regarding the categories?

Re: Synology - cannot see downloaded files
Not SAB, it's maybe the new synology permissions.

Linux has always been case-sensitive - it’s not a new thing.
