Stats on server speeds?

Post by merc1286 »

Hi all, I have a couple of newsgroup providers that I use. When I go into the config and look at their configuration, there are some great stats around how much I have downloaded from those servers.

One thing that would be very helpful for me to track, especially over time, is the average speed I was getting from those servers. Is that available somewhere?

Thanks!

Not really, mostly because when servers are active at the same time it could skew the results. I tried implementing it, but the results were scattered.
Also servers usually have fast and slow storage, so some downloads could be much faster than others.
