Clean temp from within Sabnzbd but retain failed history?

Post by AnonyMouse »

Is it possible to clean the temp folder out of items older than X days, but retain the failed history? I know I can add a job to remove failed jobs, but that cleans them from the history. I'd just like to clean the temp folder so it doesn't fill up slowly over time with failed jobs.

If not from within Sab, I assume I can just cron job it? Is there any negative impact to removing items from the temp folder without removing the associated entries in the history?

System is Ubuntu;
Thanks!

No, there's no negative impact, you can just remove the files as you want.
There's no real way to just remove the files but keep history.
