D/L speed caps out at 2.5 MB/s

Post by Rado001 »

Hi,

I have been using sabnzbd for about 10-ish years now. I have just reinstalled the latest version and re-set up the server config. The speed seems to be capped at 2.5 MD/s.

At first it jumps to about 2.9, but then it scales back down to 2.5.
In the past, I used to have speeds up to about 60-70 MB/s.

My wi-fi speed test just gave me 413 mbps d/l speed.

I also opened the 8080 port on my modem.

Download folder speed is 103.5 MB/s.

My sabnzbd general settings are:

Maximum line speed: 70 MB/s
Percentage of line speed: 100%
Article Cache Limit: 1G
NO SSL

Sabnzbd server settings:

Connections: 10
Priority: highest
NO SSL

What can be causing the speed limit?

Have you tried to download the test-download in Status and Interface settings?
Can you run the tests also there for disk-speed etc?

Is it possible my ISP is throttling my traffic?

Could be the case! What happens if you use SSL?
If you use fast.com, what speed do you get there? Mind that it's written in MBps and not MB/s, so you have to devide the result by 8 to get MB/s.
