I have just started receiving the following message when trying to open SABnzbd . The message is as follows
It looks like the webpage at http://127.0.0.1:556/sabnzbd/ might be having issues, or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings. - Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.

Nothing just trying random things to get working will head for the 8000. Except now I can't get in at all - bugger bugger bum - Looking for a genius to unlock my dilemma now.

You'll probably need to manually edit the SABnzbd configuration file you're using. Find the key-value pair showing your current 556 port and change it.

Glad I got something right - I had 5 good years of using this- decided to upload the latest version , my primary drive shat itself and I am just trying to re establish everything.

ERR_UNSAFE_PORT is a Chrome / Chromium / MS Edge warning/error, protecting you against strange URLs, in this case: strange port, considered UNSAFE by Chrome.
You can tell Chrome to do it anyway, but easier to put SABnzbd on 8080 again. Which you did, and which worked. Good!

I just edited it to Chrome / Chromium / MS Edge. Can't test Firefox for you. Which browser do you?
Good old MS IE does accept that port. So, can you use that?
On which OS is your SABnzbd running?
