First of all thank you, that verison for DSM7 was released!
Me and many other users report very low speeds on SABNZBD with DSM7. I only get 8-12mb/sec while I always had up to 50mb with DSM6. Even with Download Station I have speeds of around 30mb on DSM7. It is not an internet issue or anything with my DS220J since it was WAY faster with DSM6.
Are there any known bugs on DSM7 version of SABNZBD?
Many thanks!!!

Sorry, there is no known issues for DSM7.
I don't have a DSM7 capable NAS, so I can't check.

Thank you for the feedback...
@all: Are there other users on DSM7 with issues about speed on DSM7?

I'm confused now: in your first post you wrote "Me and many other users report very low speeds on SABNZBD with DSM7."timmiller1405 wrote: ↑October 6th, 2021, 7:47 am @all: Are there other users on DSM7 with issues about speed on DSM7?
Your statement and your question don't seem to match, IMHO

Re: SABNZBD very slow with DSM7
It does match.
I found other users via Google search and Reddit with similar issues.
My following question was towards other users on this board if they have similar issues (or no issues)
Now it seems better, I have speed about 25mb roughly however this is with one connection. Multiple connections don't seem to work (for me, DS220J) even though my provider provides 20 connections.
Would be interesting to know if multiple connections work for other users on DSM7.

There are some problems with SynoCommunity version of Python and because of that with Sabnzbd.
Hopefully soon there will be an update.

Re: SABNZBD very slow with DSM7
Great thank you!
I already saw improvements compared to first version that was released for DSM7...the 25-30mb based on one connection are not bad...before it was around 10-12mb :-) At least that was my observation.
I will rerun tests once there is new versions out and update here.
However it would be interesting to know if there is a general issue about multiple connections in SABNZBD in DSM7 for other users as well :-)

Re: SABNZBD very slow with DSM7
Any update by anyone on this? Maybe its just an issue on my side. So far only one connection is used at a time for me. Everything else works perfect with sabnzbd, Just the multiple connections would be nice :-) Thanks!
Re: SABNZBD very slow with DSM7
On DSM 7 latest version with SSL enabled and Certificate verification set to (minimal) on eweka server with 50 connections I get 30-40MB/s.
If I disable SSL I can get 45-55MB/s
Number of connections: 1, 10, 30 or 50 does not change the speeds for me at all.
You can try to increase your speed while using SSL by using SSL Ciphers: Increase performance by forcing a lower SSL encryption strength.
Read the Wiki Help on this! https://sabnzbd.org/wiki/advanced/ssl-ciphers
(I have not tried this as I'm fine with my current SSL connection speeds)
Hope this helps.
