Problem with my category settings

Post by jwhitt12 »

I am running with ubuntu 22.04
debug log: https://pastebin.ubuntu.com/p/PpTbSRB5zP/
I wanted to use pastebin but it said there was offensive stuff here (thought you should know)

I think I screwed up. Here is my settings:

Relative folders are based on: /home/greg/Video/complete
Folder Path for TV Category: /home/greg/Video/tv

My problem is that I believe that the basing of folders means that whatever is here is the basis of any folder paths. That being the case then my tv category ends up with /home/greg/Video/complete/home/greg/Video/tv which makes no sense at all. So, I started looking around for how it should look. I found paths like C:/name and other with paths like "name" (no base address)). So, now I am confused. Perhaps the basing of the category paths have nothing to do with each other, then, again, maybe they do.

The reason is because a episode never got transferred to the root folder. I checked my log and it was trying to find something that went like /home/(removed)/Video/tv/episode name. I have never seem (removed) before.

Can you tell me which way this thing is done?

Thank you.......... (I'm probably over thinking a bit)

Only if your Category Path is not a full path, it will be relative to the base path.
So in your case if you specify /home/greg/Video/TV it will use exactly that folder.

So, just leave it alone and not worry about the basing address.

What's your thought on the (removed) thing in the address the log was having the problem with?

I'm not fully understanding what the removed part should be?
