Download error but files are OK

Hello,

I'm using Sabnzbd 4.0.2 on a Qnap NAS and I downloaded some files.
After downloading, sabnzbd ended with an error that it could not repair the files and the download was not ok.
I tried downloading some repair files but even when adding these files, the download did not succeed.
Sabnzbd could not repair and extract the files.

I took a look manually at the files and checked them with ekpar2 (linux).
The RAR files seems all in good condition and I extracted them manually without any problem.

I do not know if it is by design but doesn't sabnzbd verifies the rar files before repairing them?

You can inspect the file sabnzbd.log to see what is going. Maybe it has to do with quick check.

To test your setup is correct: In SABnzbd's upper right corner, click on the wrench symbol ("Status and interface options"), then click on first tab Status, click Test download 1GB. ... what is the result? OK, or not OK?

testfile was, as suspected, downloaded ok.

I've been noticing this the last few weeks. I'd say about 70% of my downloads are saying Failed and showing "Some files failed to verify against (name of file)". But like mentioned above, I go to the temp folder for the download and all the rar files are there and I'm able to manually unrar just fine with the Unarchiver included in macOS. This never used to happen. Just curious if others are experiencing it as well.

It might be the source of the NZB's. If they include also secondary set of files which have stuff missing (sample files for example). Then sabnzbd will fail the job if that secondary set is broken.
