Hi,
It would be nice to have an auto resume function.
This so the downloads pause when you're running out of disk space and resume again when disk space becomes available again.
It happens (especially on slower computers) that post processing (for example) will take up more time than downloads.
Therefore the temp space may become full.
After the post processing completes, the disk space becomes available again (provided you have different storage for temp and completed downloads).
In our current situation SABnzbd stays paused untill you manually unpause it or if a schedule action lets the queue resume again.
It would be nice if SABnzbd detects that space becomes available again and resumes automatically again.
Hope it is possible to implement this request (I guess it is, cause it's already detecting when the disk is becoming full).
You could make a setting wich let's it resume again when a certain amount of space is available again.
I hope I made clear what my wish is.
Thanx for your time.

Auto resume when space becomes available.
Re: Auto resume when space becomes available.
I get what you mean.
At the time we thought it wasn't a good idea to have an auto-resume.
Disk-full is a serious problem that should be taken care of properly before unpausing.
We'll think about it.

Re: Auto resume when space becomes available.
A full disk can really be a problem.
But when you configure the downloads like I do, it isn't a problem when your incomplete disk runs out of space.
I've got an partion on my system just for the incomplete downloads.
The complete's will be moved to another partition/disk.
Both of them aren't my system drive or holding the page file/swap.
In that kind of situation it really isn't an issue when a disk gets full (within a margin of about 3GB).
So when more space becomes available again, the downloads are free to continue.

It's not a straightforward feature, so it will take some time.

Re: Auto resume when space becomes available.
Yes. In Folders settings, enable Advanced Settings and enable Auto Resume.
