Occasionally a downloaded file will just disappear.

Post by StorminNorman »

Hi all,

So, I'm new to this (well, "new again", I did this dance many moons ago), but I'm running into an error I can't figure out, nor can the people who got me back into this. I will have files be straight up deleted after download. Folder disappears from the downloads folder too. It's not every folder, more often than not the download does it thing just fine. The file will still show up in the sab history. I'm genuinely baffled. I suspect its more of a sonarr issue as sonarr says the file exists but can't transfer it, but I'm casting a wider net in case it isn't.

Much appreciate and all help that is provided, thanks all.

I had the same last week! Turned out my (external NTFS) disk filesystem was bad. So I repaired that, and everything was fine again. Captain Hindsight: my system log was already telling there were problems with the disk, so I should/could have seen it earlier on.

Also: check that Smart Duplicate Detection is off. See /switches/#no_smart_dupes . Also see https://sabnzbd.org/wiki/extra/duplicate-detection.html
