Hi.
To avoid creating another similar topic, I'll post it here.
I have the same problem: I'm downloading some NZBs and the PAR2 files are always getting useless and 700KB in size. It's not happening with all NZBs.
In the sabnzbd.ini the enable_par_cleanup = 1
Could it be that the files have already been deleted from the usenet server? Is the retention period over?

You have to be more specific.
Do the downloads fail to repair? Do you want to keep the par2 files?

And SAB also offers to retry (which won't work), and therefore does not delete the files.

When SABnzbd fails to do the automatic repair, I try the manual repair with MultiPar:



So I think the file has already been deleted from the server. Strange that it's only the PAR2 files.

I tried to download it with another usenet client and the same problem occurs.

I have the same problem with many nzb downloads.
SABnzb tells me that a 50 meg par2 file has been downloaded and it seems by the time it takes the progress bar to move that something is being downloaded but the Par2 files show up as 717 kb in size and thus repair does does not work.
I am using MacOS 4.5.1
I deleted the sabnzbd.ini and reset everything, same problem persists.
I can see SABnzb download stuff, but the par2 do not grow to full size.

I tried
enable_par_cleanup = 0
enable_par_cleanup = 1

No it hasn't been downloaded. Only the first article has been downloaded. The repair fails because the total available par2 isn't enough.

The options here are not going to change anything.

Or what is the message that is shown in history?
Is the job even set to Repair?

Update: In my case, I spoke with my usenet service provider and they did something to "refresh" the specific nzb file I was having problems downloading par2 files. They did something, I do not know what, and that fixed the problem and the par2 files downloaded properly and the rar riles repaired.
