Slow webinterface after pressing the "Queue" tab.

Post by lumix1991 »

Hi guys,

Firstly thanks for this wonderfull program! it works very good! I use it daily to download nzb's to my home server.

Now i am facing with the following problem:
When the queue is empty the program works perfectly, but when i add a NZB to the queue, it will start downloading it.
Still no problems with the interface, browsing goes fast and nothing goes wrong, but when i click on the "Queue"  tab, the interface is very slow, it will take about 2 minutes to load the queue page on my screen!!
It don't matters how big the queue is (with 10 mb or 100 GB, same problems).

The other tabs, presents no problems, they will load fast to my screen, only the "Queue"  tab presents problems!

When the Queue is empty, the hole system is fast again!

Is there a possibility to fix this bug?

I use the following:
AMD athlon 6000+ X2
4096 Mb ram
4x 1 TB in RAID
SabNZBd 0.4.12 (I used several versions of it, all same problems)
I use windows server 2008 R2 as OS, I re-installed the os again, but the problems still there!

P.S. please re-design the logon page, it looks cheap, the hole SabNZB program is perfect, the logon screen is very boring xD

Thanks!

Which web browser do you use? Which skin?
What's the "refresh" rate for the queue page (see Config->General)?
(Don't set it to 1 sec, try 10 or 15).

Shypike,
I tested several browsers (Firefox, IE8/IE7, Google Chrome) all with the same problems
I use the default skin (the blue one)
The refresh rate is 10 seconds this moment, but if i change this to other values, the problem is still there!

I use Sabnzbd remotely, not on localhost! this because my server is at home and i use it on my work, i will try it on localhost today. When i connect internal in my home network to the download server, it's also slow.

Hard to tell what's going on.
How long has SABnzbd been running without restart?
Maybe you can try to start it once with the --clean option.
This will wipe the queue admin and history.

The period that SABnzbd is running has nothing to do with this problem, when SABnzbd runs for 10 minutes or for 10 days makes no difference! same problems.
I shall try the "--clean" option later today, maybe it works.
