I can accsess sab via the browser with http://x1.xx4.2xx.xx:8080/sabnzbd/ but when i use that in the app i just get the error message.
Am i doing anything wrong?

Regards Ontrose

And is there any reason why SABDroid is not available on the Android Market?

Got it up and running first time on sab 0.4.9, with auth and api key and the http://url:port/sabnzbd/ format on the url.

Are queue changes planned in the future?

Excellent! My Hero is now complete.  This is essential to me, right up there with Android iRC and AndFTP.

Will the back end run on the phone? Isn't it possible to have python on Android? Getting a Nexus One tomorrow I will look into this. May have to look up my man Markus for this one.

Any chance of this supporting Android 2.1? Looks perfect!

I don't use this app , but would say you need to fill in :

The ip of the PC/server running sabnzbd+

As you are trying to connect to localhost , but localhost means you look at the system that is running the sabdroid app..
and I don't think you have sabnzbd+ setup on your telephone
